I think it is a vast small person conspiracy. I love my sweet baby Isaac. I really really really do. And 99% of the time, he is an AMAZING kid. He sleeps incredibly well, so well that I won't tell you because if I do the parenting gods will get me. He nurses well, likes to nurse. Is content out and about. Sleeps in the car, even on trips.
But, for some reason, he KNOWS I am trying to get something done today. I am trying my best to get caught up on laundry a bit. He fussed himself to sleep a little while ago. He slept MAYBE 20 minutes, and is now up again.
He wants to nurse. But he isn't hungry and doesn't need it. He will eat, then be happy, then burp, then puke up most of what he just ate. His tummy is still mostly full from what he ate about 45 minutes ago.
However, it is not advisable to argue with a two month old. At least not for long! Off to feed my young!

Oh, Hayes, I can't tell you how much it meant to me that you said Isaac fussed himself to sleep a little while ago and then slept 20 minutes ... I see so many attachment parenting moms on TBW make comments to the effect that they would NEVER let their baby "cry it out," and it's just refreshing to hear a REAL attached mom candidly and noncompetitively say "he fussed himself to sleep."
